Though stopping short of announcing a sales figure, Super League chief executive admits there’s “a lot of work” to be done to boost the attendance for this year’s Magic Weekend.
Murmurings on social media suggest that tickets have not moved as quickly as the competition was hoping.
And, in conversation with the Press Association’s Ian Laybourn, Elstone clarified: “What I will say is we’ve got a lot of work to do, both Super League and the clubs, to get to our budget attendance.”
