Wakefield Trinity coach Chris Chester was left ruing his side’s inability to convert chances into points after his side were beaten 10-0 by Leeds.
Chester credited Leeds’ game plan but was frustrated with the result after feeling his side clearly created more opportunities throughout the game, but ultimately paid the price for not finishing them off.
“Credit to Leeds, they came with a game plan to work our middles over and it worked for them,” he said.
“I thought the performance was good, but our execution was horrendous. I have never seen a game when a team has created so little and ended up winning 10-0.
“We created chances, but the last pass wasn’t quite there. It was just one of those nights when nothing quite worked for us.”
