Wakefield Trinity star David Fifita has become the second person from the club to openly criticise Wigan’s defensive tactics after being on the receiving end of an awkward looking contact on his knees last night.
Trinity ran out 30-20 winners over the struggling Warriors last night, in which Fifita once again starred, but were left ruing the loss of four key players, three of which have knee injuries.
Chris Chester accused Adrian Lam’s men of exhibiting ‘naughty’ tactics throughout the game and Fifita has now taken to Twitter to highlight an example of an incident involving himself, where his standing leg appears to be attacked in a three man tackle.
“Ffs plz I love my job!! Don’t take it away with your cheap s**t” – is the caption the front rower used, who has publicly criticised Wigan’s perceived ‘grubby’ tactics in the past.
