Rangi Chase said he was looking forward to finishing the season strongly in League 1 after Doncaster revealed his signing today.
Chase is on the verge of completing a two year ban for doping after testing positive for cocaine whilst playing for Widnes in 2017 and has agreed to join the Dons until the end of the season.
The former England star will be able to train with his new teammates for two months before he is officially cleared to play, and understandably was looking forward to getting back into the rigours of professional rugby.
“It’s not too far away now,” Chase said of his pending return.
“I’m looking forward to it and hopefully I can add something to the team.”
“I’ve been out for a bit so it’ll take me a bit of time but i’m looking forward to getting back in that team environment and i’ll hopefully play well on the back of that.”
