Speculation on social media this lunchtime suggests that Tottenham Hotspur could make a bid to host next year’s Magic Weekend.
Spurs recently opened their new stadium, which has a capacity of 62,062.
Super League is yet to comment on the location for next year’s event, and it is understood there is no deal in place beyond this year with Anfield.
It was announced in March that Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium will be a Rugby League World Cup 2021 host, while West Ham’s Olympic Stadium has also hosted an international match in recent years.
Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be interested in hosting the 2020 Magic Weekend. Awesome modern stadium in North London!
