Saints to rest four stars for London trip

St Helens coach Justin Holbrook is set to rotate his squad for Sunday’s clash against London in the capital, with four senior stars dropping out of the squad.

England internationals Jonny Lomax, Tommy Makinson and Alex Walmsley join Zeb Taia and youngster Aaron Smith in dropping out of the Australian’s extended squad.

The league leaders do include Theo Fages, who returns from injury, Kyle Amor and Adam Swift in their squad, as well as young guns James Bentley and Jack Welsby while experienced captain James Roby is set to play despite being rested on a couple of occasions so far this year.
