Warriors lose three to injury

As well as a poor run of form and a suspension to Taulima Tautai, Wigan’s woes have been worsened further by injuries to a trio of senior stars.

Dom Manfredi, who only made his return from knee surgery last week against Huddersfield, could be out for three weeks after damaging his teeth, while Liam Marshall and Sam Powell could face six weeks and a month on the sidelines, after picking up  knee and ankle injuries respectively.

All three will be missing for this week’s showdown with Warrington, with Adrian Lam forced to reshuffle his side once again as the Cherry and Whites go in search of only their second win of 2019.

Some positive news personnel wise for the Warriors is that Dan Sarginson and Joe Greenwood return from injury.
