Melbourne Storm have honoured legendary former player Billy Slater by naming a stand after him.
Slater retired at the end of the 2018 season after having made more than 300 appearances for the club.
He also won every honour at Origin and international level.
And the club has wasted little time in recognising his achievements, naming the Grandstand at AAMI Park ‘The Slater Stand’.
“AAMI Park is a special place for myself, and to have my family’s name on the grandstand is a great honour,” said Slater.
