Veteran Leeds forward Carl Ablett has announced his retirement from the sport.
Ablett has enjoyed an immensely successful 16-year spell with the Rhinos, though has struggled with injuries during the last two years.
The back rower hasn’t been able to make an appearance in 2019, though his achievements earlier in his career cement his place as a club legend.
Aside from a short spell on loan with London, Ablett has spent his entire career with Leeds, winning seven Super League titles, two Challenge Cups, two World Club Challenges and two League Leaders Shields.
At tonight’s Annual Awards dinner Rhinos legend Carl Ablett announced that he will retire at the end of the season after an incredible career
