One of Hull KR’s most versatile stars Danny Addy has confessed he will not be at the club next year.

Speaking after Rovers’ golden point loss to Salford, which ultimately saw them survive relegation on points difference alone, the former Bull admitted that it was his last game for the Robins.

Having previously been offered a deal to stay under previous coach Tim Sheens, Addy revealed that things had gone a different direction under new coach Tony Smith.

“This year has been a little bit up and down. I’ve never run into the last year of my contract before so I’ve been playing for a deal, he told The Yorkshire Post’s Dave Craven.

“I got offered one but then (previous coach) Tim (Sheens) left so it was all a bit up in the air, really.

“Then obviously it was Tony’s decision. You have to respect that.”
