A leading Rugby League agent has taken to social media to defend several of the players he represents following Huddersfield’s defeat to Castleford.
The Giants’ 24-0 reverse sees the club head into the Challenge Cup break joint bottom of the table with London and Hull KR.
Agent Craig Harrison of Show Me The Money represents Huddersfield players Matty English, Adam O’Brien, Oliver Roberts, Alex Mellor, Tom Holmes and Reiss Butterworth, plus several under-19s players.
O’Brien, Roberts, Mellor and Holmes played today.
Harrison said: “Looking at some comments on Huddersfield and their performance.
“Let me just say today those youngsters who played today, four of which can still play under-19s, are not to be blamed.
“They should be held in the highest order and are the future of the club. Fact!”
He added: “Those Giants lads of mine are all up for fight and the academy players are a credit to any franchise.”
