The All Golds have announced the appointment of one of the region’s most successful women, Gloucester-born Julie Kent, as a board member elect.
Kent was recently named as one of the ’50 Greatest Women in Gloucestershire’, included in the ‘Top 100 Women in the West’ and won the Award for the ‘Most Outstanding Woman in the Charitable Sector in the West’.
She has been prominent in local Charity Work as a fundraiser, public speaker and busy networker for Dean Close, Pied Piper Appeal, and most recently Goals beyond Grass and Cheltenham Open Door, where she has recently become chairwoman.
Kent inherited her sporting interests from her father and has gone on to gain a first-rate reputation in a number of areas, including as a talented singer and sax player touring with various bands locally and to the UAE.
She has also become an extremely popular Housemistress at Dean Close School, Cheltenham where she is in her 30th and final year.
All Golds director Joe David is rightly jubilant said: “Julie is a most inspirational woman and set the board room alight with her sparkling personality and desire for success.
“The club is rightly proud of its burgeoning commercial portfolio and Julie will play a principal role in its advancement.
“The club is mindful of building a strong off-field infrastructure so Julie’s social media savvy, educational knowledge and general enthusiasm to succeed will all contribute greatly to this end.”
