Wibsey Rugby Club are appealing to the rugby league family to help them in their hour of need following an arson attack.

The Bradford-based amateur club discovered over the weekend that a container consisting of valuable training equipment had been set on fire – causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Equipment such as tackle bags, post protectors and even a scrum machine all succumbed to the arson attack.

The club have now set up a Just Giving page in a bid to raise much-needed funds as soon as possible.
