Leigh are being linked with a move for another of their former players.
Already in 2019, the Centurions have completed the capture of former Leigh players Ryan Brierley, Adam Higson, Jake Emmitt, Gregg McNally and Jonny Pownall, while Martyn Ridyard returned to LSV ahead of the current campaign.
And TotalRL.com’s Matt Shaw reports that Leigh are set to add half-back Ben Reynolds to their ranks ahead of the play-offs.
Reynolds played for Leigh in their promotion season and has recently been linked with a move away from current club Wakefield.
Shaw writes: “It’s understood that Reynolds almost joined Halifax last week in a deal that would have seen Adam Tangata go the other way, but the deal was pulled at the eleventh hour after the halfback had second thoughts.
“Now he is on the move, but back to a place he knows well as the Centurions continue to strengthen their squad after of the end of season play-offs.”
