Great Britain coach Wayne Bennett has made three personnel changes to his line up for the Lions first of two Tests with New Zealand this Saturday.

Injuries to Oliver Gildart and Luke Thompson have seen Hull FC’s Jake Connor come into the starting centre spot, with Tom Burgess’ promotion to the starting line up paving the way for Warrington youngster Joe Philbin to make his debut off the bench.

The only other change sees St Helens play maker Jonny Lomax replace club teammate Lachlan Coote at fullback, with Wire hooker Daryl Clark coming onto the other vacant bench spot.

The Kiwis have made two changes, with superstar half back Shaun Johnson dropped for experienced Canterbury stand off Kieran Foran to return to the international scene.
