Catalans chairman Bernard Guasch has laid the blame for the club’s poor season at a nucleus of the club’s squad, who he says can’t accept the club’s decision-making.
The Dragons have endured a poor run of form in recent weeks that’s seen their play-off hopes evaporate.
Guasch also commented on the attitude of Tony Gigot, who is widely expected to depart Catalans at the end of the season.
Guasch told L’Independant: “There are problems with six or seven players who do not accept being told that they will not be with us next season.
“We gave Tony all the cards this season and I am very upset by his attitude.
“He does not listen to the right people and at some point you have to be serious – and I am.”
