Several observers have reacted to reports that the Championship Grand Final could be set to move to a neutral venue.
The match had been due to be held at the home of the highest-ranked club, though recent speculation suggests this could be up for debate.
It is understood that several clubs have expressed concerns about multiple trips to Toronto, should the Wolfpack finish top.
Journalists Steve Mascord and Matt Shaw have criticised the timing of the discussions.
apologies for the error regarding the play-off system but the fact is it's July and everyone including the Wolfpack understood they would get a home final if they got there. Changing the system in July when one team is out in front by that far is unprofessional in the extreme. pic.twitter.com/LzUS3HNJcn

Nail. Hit. Head.
I've no issue with a neutral venue, I think it should be held at one. But don't change the rules in-season. Just a bad look and produces an integrity issue for the competition that it doesn't need.
The sport's obsession to do these things is dumbfounding. https://t.co/3f9S7GA6uA
