St Helens captain Jodie Cunningham has been named the club’s Player of the Year at their End of Season dinner.
The 27-year-old, who is an Ambassador for the 2021 World Cup as well as a pundit on Sky Sports, had a fine season for the Saints in 2019. She played 14 times and scored 11 tries in the process.
England captain Emily Rudge was also rewarded for her performances as she took home the Players’ Player of the Year award and Imperial Exiles Supporters Player of the Year award.
Young second rower, Darcy Stott claimed the Young Player of the Year award, while Chantelle Crowl took home three awards – Coaches Player of the Year, Most Entertaining Performance of the Year and Hit Woman of the Year.
Tara Jones won the Try of the Year after fans voted her score against Wigan as the stand-out try, while winger Leah Burke was crowned top try scorer after bagging 14 tries in 12 games.
