Richard Agar admits he is in no rush to appoint a new captain and will select from a number of emerging leaders in the squad following the departure of Trent Merrin. “We felt last year we put a lot of time into our cultures and behaviors and I think over that time we’ve had a number of guys whose leadership skills are emerging. New Hull man Ligi Sao has highlighted his desire for more regular game time as a key reason for his decision to make the switch from the NRL to Super League. He told Hull Daily Mail’s William Jackson: “It was just the opportunity of playing rugby, getting a shot at playing some footy. I just want to enjoy every game with the lads over here, my new teammates. For me it’s all about enjoyment and when you’re winning it’s when you’re enjoying it the most.”
