Samy Kibula insists there have been no fall-outs following his decision to swap Wigan for Warrington. Kibula rose through the ranks with the Warriors but will aim to make his senior breakthrough with the Wire from next season, after have been restricted to loan appearances elsewhere in 2019. He told Wigan Today’s Phil Wilkinson: “The loan moves were good for me, there’s no fall-outs, I wish them well.”

New Bradford stakeholder Mark Sawyer says he has plans to make Odsal a sustainable option for the club. Dewsbury chairman Sawyer was confirmed last night as a part of the new consortium in control of the Bulls, and he says a return to the club’s spiritual home is on their radar. He told TotalRL.com’s Matt Shaw: “We’ve now got a lot of ideas how Odsal can be made sustainable and improvements that can be made. We need to come up with a scheme for the whole site and show what our plans are. ”

Jackson Hastings says he intends to represent the GB Lions to the best of his ability after his inclusion in the squad has brought pockets of criticism. The reigning Man of Steel qualifies through his English grandmother and is honoured to be in Wayne Bennett’s squad for Saturday’s clash with Tonga. He told Wigan Today’s Phil Wilkinson: “I don’t make the quota rules, I qualify and I put my hand up, and I’m truly honoured to be a part of this group of players. I just want to represent myself and my family to the best of my ability, and represent the Lions on tour, with dignity.

Hull KR Head of Youth John Bastian has tipped promising youngster Will Tate to make a breakthrough into Hull KR’s first team at some point next season. Bastian joined the Robins earlier this year and is confident a number of player could impress in 2020. He told Hull Daily Mail’s James O’Brien: “Will Tate is certainly a talent. He’s come through the City of Hull Academy and he’s on our books at Hull Kingston Rovers. He’s got some great attributes. There’s some more in the academy as well.”
