England Knights triumph over Jamaica

England Knights turned in a dominant display over Jamaica to run out 38-6 winners at Headingley.

7,113 fans turned up for the first meeting of the two sides, with Paul Anderson’s youthful Knights squad producing some clinical attacking play to run out comfortable winners.

New Hull KR man Greg Minikin bagged a first half hat trick in a man of the match performance, whilst Warrington duo Tom Lineham and Toby King both added scores that saw England take a commanding 28-0 lead into the break.

A converted Mason Caton-Brown try started the second half scoring for the Reggae Warriors but the Knights wrapped up a big win thanks to a second from Lineham and a late try to Wigan’s Joe Greenwood rounding off a good afternoon’s work for the young English line up.
