Former Wigan Warriors centre Liam Forsyth has signed a new deal with Betfred Championship side Leigh Centurions.
The 23-year-old joined the Centurions in June from the Warriors and ran in 10 tries in the same number of matches.
A delighted Forsyth told the club website: “Everyone is keen to pick up the pieces of last season because we were all so disappointed with how things finished.
“We have a good bunch at the club and there’s a real desire to be better next season. The Championship seems to get better every season and it’s up to us to rise to that challenge and push for promotion.
“During the middle part of the season we showed the kind of rugby we can play but we couldn’t keep that momentum. But we all have to chance to rectify that and the challenge is for me and the team to get better.”
