Great Britain have suffered a massive injury blow with the news that Ryan Hall sustained a dislocated knee in the defeat to New Zealand.
The Sydney Roosters winger picked up the injury as the Lions went down 12-8 at Eden Park in their first Test against the Kiwis.
This gives head coach a massive selection seeing as he only selected two wingers in his tour party – the other being Jermaine McGillvary.
The Australian chief could opt to move Zak Hardaker or Jake Connor to the wing and move the likes of John Bateman or Josh Jones to the centres.
Another option could see him call for a quick replacement, if he’s allowed, with Josh Charnley being the obvious choice – but how match ready would he be as he hasn’t played in around a month?
Regan Grace or Joe Burgess are other candidates available to Bennett.
He told the post-match press conference: “I think he’s dislocated his knee which he did earlier in the season. It’s gone back in but it did come out, so he said.
“I don’t know if we can bring other players in. I don’t think we can but I’m not sure.”
