Chris Hill will miss Warrington’s next three matches after being issued with a Grade C penalty notice following Thursday’s defeat to Wigan.

Hill was dismissed for a high challenge on Warriors’ Sam Powell and missed the final 57 minutes of the clash at the DW Stadium.

He will now miss Thursday’s match against St Helens, the trip to Wakefield in round three and the home clash against Toronto on 21 February.

Meanwhile, Castleford’s Peter Matautia has been suspended for the next two matches after being charged with Grade B dangerous contact in Sunday’s win against Toronto.

The charge relates to a late hit on Wolfpack’s Jon Wilkin in the 26th minute of the match at Headingley.

Elsewhere, Hull’s Ratu Naulago received a caution for “aggressively tapping an opponent on the back of the head”, provoking a melee.

The incident occurred in the fourth minute of the win against Leeds and involved Rhinos’ Ash Handley.
