The Black and Whites are set to get a timely boost with the return of England international Jake Connor for their trip to Catalans but will be without three more senior stars.

Connor hasn’t played since injuring his knee in round four against former club Huddersfield and had previously stated he was targeting the Good Friday Hull derby for his return.

However, it now looks like the versatile back could feature in Perpignan a week earlier than planned after being named in Lee Radford’s 19 man squad.

Elsewhere, a calf injury is set to keep Scott Taylor out of action, while suspensions to Mickey Paea and Andre Savelio see Levy Nzoungou and Jack Brown come into contention to make their debuts, alongside Jordan Thompson who is back in the squad.
