St Helens are planning to field a strong side for their Challenge Cup semi-final tie with Halifax, but will be without Lachlan Coote who is sidelined through injury.

Holbrook rested a number of senior players in last week’s defeat to London in Super League ahead of the sudden death clash at Bolton, and is set to bring welcome a number of those key names back on Saturday.

However, St Helens Reporter has confirmed that the Australian fullback won’t feature after struggling with a knee problem.
