Leeds Rhinos have confirmed three more friendlies at the start of next year, taking their pre-season quota to five.
The Rhinos had previously revealed they were taking on Wakefield Trinity in the traditional Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge on Boxing Day, while they will also face Bradford Bulls on Sunday, January 12 as part of Jamie Jones-Buchanan’s Testimonial.
Richard Agar’s men will now travel to the LD Nutrition Stadium on Friday, January 24 with a kick-off time of 7.30pm.
They will then face Newcastle Thunder on Sunday, January 26 at 3pm – where they could come face to face with former player Ashley Gibson.
Their final pre-season encounter will happen on Friday, January 31 against Hunslet at the South Leeds Stadium at 3pm.
These matches are designed to get everyone up to match fitness ahead of their 2020 Betfred Super League opener against Hull FC at the Emirates Headingley on Sunday, February 2.
