Richard Agar has confirmed that Liam Sutcliffe will go under the knife to have a minor operation on his knee after hurting it twice so far this season.

He told Yorkshire Evening Post’s Peter Smith: “Sutty has had a knee clean-out; he will be out for two or three weeks, so he’s not going to miss much football.”

With the season now being suspended until 3rd April, and the lay off only expected to be a few weeks, the versatile Sutcliffe has a chance being fit again without missing any games.
