LMS to face former club in Testimonial game

Saints announce first pre-season match.

Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook’s Testimonial game will be against former club London Broncos early next year.

LMS, who has been awarded the Testimonial year by the Saints, joined the club from the Broncos back in 2011.

Since joining the club, LMS has played 274 times and has won two Super League titles and three League Leaders Shields.

He has represented England on two occasions, while he played for Ireland three times during the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

His Testimonial year will kick-off with the game at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday, January 19 2020 with a start time of 2.30pm.

LMS told the club website: “It’s fantastic news to announce my Testimonial fixture against my old club, London Broncos.

“I can’t wait and hopefully many fans can get down and support me.

“As a Londoner through and through it will be a pleasure to play against them, so hopefully you can come down and join me.”
