Marc Sneyd believes an extended pre-season can propel Hull FC to success in 2020.
The Black and Whites ended 2019 with a whimper, dropping out of the play-offs following a disastrous run of form at the end of the regular season.
But Sneyd is hopeful that the additional time off can be a blessing in disguise, and adds he is relishing the changes in playing personnel.
He said: “There’s obviously some big names that have now left us, but looking forward to the haul of players that will be joining the club for 2020 is very exciting.
“Everyone coming through the door is of a very high standard.
“With a long pre-season under our belts, where we’ll have plenty of time to gel and learn more about one another, I think next season has the potential to be successful.”
