After bursting onto the scene in his first year in rugby league, Hull FC winger Ratu Naulago says he is looking forward to competing with the new faces for a wing spot in 2020.

Hull have signed Adam Swift from St Helens and Mahe Fonua from Wests Tigers, giving Lee Radford two more options on the wing and the rugby union convert is confident that will help him and the rest of the squad lift to their best as they prepare for next year.

“We have a few new faces around the place; Swifty has been great around the camp in these first few days. It’s great to have competition for places as it makes every playing improve their game,” he told the club website.

“We have a lot of depth in this squad but you have to look forward to the competition. The other wingers in the squad have played a lot more Rugby League than me, but we can learn a lot from each other.”
