One of the real journeymen of the NRL has announced he will retire at the end of the season, bringing down the curtain on an 11 year career spanning across five different clubs.
St George forward Jeremy Latimore has amassed 177 top level appearances since debuting for Parramatta in 2009.
The 32 year old has been the ultimate bench forward for the majority of his career and has become one of the most loved personalities in the competition, but will now hang up the boots at the end of the current campaign.
“I’ve been thinking about [retirement] for a couple of weeks now, and I feel now is the right time to go out for myself and my family. I’ve had a ball and I really love this Dragons club but unfortunately all good things have to come to an end,” he told NRL.com.
