One to debut as one plays his final game for Leeds

Leeds Rhinos coach Richard Agar looks set to hand a debut to one of the club’s teenage stars on the same night that a retiring legend will grace the Headingley pitch for the final time.

18 year old Corey Johnson has been included in Agar’s extended squad after impressing in the under-19s this season and the young hooker is in line to make his first Super League appearance as Jamie Jones-Buchanan prepares to play his final game in the famous blue and amber against Warrington on Friday.

It’ll be JJB’s 421st game for the Rhinos and the eight time Super League champion will captain the side in his farewell match, with the injured Carl Ablett also set to say his goodbyes to the fans after announcing his retirement yesterday.
