Parramatta Eels have signed Ryan Matterson on a three-year deal from Wests Tigers.
The 25-year-old second row forward joined the Tigers in 2019 after two seasons with the Sydney Roosters – where he won the minor premiership and the NRL Grand Final.
Matterson is a Parramatta Eels junior and played in the lower grades for three years and represented the Australian School Boys and Australian Junior Roos.
Parramatta Eels head coach Brad Arthur told the club website: “It’s always great to see the return of a local Parramatta Eels junior.
“He’ll have a whole pre-season with the team and I know he’ll be an asset to our Club next year.”
