Hull owner Adam Pearson insists there’s been no approach for Jake Connor from Leeds.
Rumours linking the play-maker with a move to the Rhinos have endured in recent weeks, but Pearson insists a bid has not been made and described the figure of £500,000 being speculated as “laughable”.
He told the Hull Daily Mail’s James Smailes: “You tell me any rugby league club in the world who would pay that figure for any player, anyone? It wouldn’t happen.
“The only people who decide if Jake Connor leaves before his contract ends are myself and Lee Radford and we’ve had no conversations about that.
“Jake has suffered from the rumours, he’s not the only player who has had a tough end to the season either. But I can categorically deny anyone has come in for Jake.”
