Reports – Blues make significant changes in the halves for Origin II

Fox League in Australia are reporting that Brad Fittler is set to name a new half back pairing for the NSW Blues once again as they look to level up the State of Origin series in game two.

South Sydney half back Cody Walker looks to have been axed, with Fittler ready to name young Penrith half back Nathan Cleary, who played in a losing side in game one, at 6 alongside veteran Newcastle captain Mitchell Pearce at 7.

Pearce has been in sparkling form for the Knights in the last six weeks, so much so he is set to get another recall to the Origin arena for the historical second match in Perth a week on Sunday.
