Reports in Monday’s League Express reveal the destination of departing Catalans Dragons ace Tony Gigot.

The end of the talented French international’s time at the Dragons was confirmed recently after he knocked back a contract extension in Perpignan with speculation linking him with a move to a rival Super League club.

However, League Express’ Matt Shaw has confirmed that Gigot will in fact head down under next year after signing a deal with NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons.

Shaw writes: “The fullback has rejected a deal at Catalans and League Express understands he will take up a contract with the Dragons in the Southern Hemisphere next season.
