With the season currently suspended, the RFL have launched their new #SkillToPlay initiative while we wait for the action on the field to start again.

The new online resource is aimed at keeping the next generation of rugby league players engaged and active in the sport, with access to skills and drills readily available so youngsters can learn to emulate the current stars of the sport.

RFL Director of Participation and Development, Marc Lovering commented on the new project:

“Right now, physical activity and keeping fit is more important than ever. And for regular young Rugby League players, and those just starting in the sport, it’s an opportunity to develop skills and learn new ones before the action starts up again.

“So, if you’re spending more time at home, and if you feel well enough, there’s loads of free online Rugby League resources for everyone, and some great prizes to win. You’ll feel better for it, you’ll be a better player for it – and it’s a lot of fun too.”
