Leeds Rhinos Women produced a stunning second half performance to beat Castleford Tigers Women to win the Women’s Super League Grand Final at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

The Tigers were looking to get revenge over the Rhinos after losing the Challenge Cup Final to Leeds 16-10 back in July and took an 8-0 lead inside the opening 10 minutes and led 8-4 at half time.

But Leeds roared back with three consecutive tries, including a well taken double to Fran Goldthorp, in the second half to take a 20-8 lead.

Castleford went over with a late consolation with six minutes to go but Adam Cuthbertson’s side claimed a 20-12 win and a league and cup double over the Tigers, who finished with the League Leaders’ Shield after losing just once in Super League all season.
