It means Tomkins misses the Robins’ crucial trip to Salford on Friday, which could decide their Super League status.

The charge relates to an incident in the 61st minute involving Broncos’ Rob Butler.

Elsewhere, Liam Farrell will miss Wigan’s clash with Castleford on Thursday after being banned for one game for a dangerous throw.
