Featherstone Rovers have continued to tie down members of their current squad by extending the contract of another youngster.

20 year old Dakota Whylie has agreed terms of another 12 month deal at the LD Nutrition Stadium and was delighted to commit to the club whilst still on the comeback trail from a serious knee injury suffered in pre-season.

“I’m really buzzing to have signed a new contract, it was a real shame that I got injured and have missed this year but I’m really grateful to Featherstone,” he said.

“Hopefully I’ll be back for pre-season but I am taking it steady and making sure that I’m 100% ready to go before I try and come back.”
