Salford have signed two stars of Featherstone’s 2019 campaign.

Forwards Jack Ormondroyd and Connor Jones will link up with the Red Devils from the start of next season.

Rovers announced the departure of the pair this evening.

The club said: “Ormondroyd and Jones will both be fully focused on Featherstone Rovers until the culmination of the 2019 season before linking up with the Super League side.

“The Rovers would like to thank both players for all of their hard work for the club.”

Ormondroyd is currently in his second full-time stint with the Rovers having made his first team debut with the club back in 2015.

Jones joined the Rovers in early July after travelling across from the Northern Pride in Australia to take up a contract with the Championship side.

The hooker has gone on to make 7 appearances for Featherstone crossing for 4 tries in the process.
