Malta international Jarrod Sammut has revealed he has left Wigan Warriors.

The 32-year-old scrum-half, who joined the Warriors ahead of the 2019 Super League season from London Broncos, took to Twitter to confirm his exit.

He wrote: “Well… back on me bike! Where next.”

Sammut chances of first-team rugby seemed slim after the Warriors signed Man of Steel Jackson Hastings ahead of the 2020 Betfred Super League season.

The Australian-born playmaker, who has played for Penrith Panthers, Crusaders, Bradford Bulls, Wakefield Trinity, Featherstone Rovers, Workington Town and London, played 14 times for the Warriors and scored two tries.
