Hull FC’s Tevita Satae has successfully appealed three three-game suspension imposed  for a late tackle.

The charge relates to an incident involving Hull KR’s George Lawler, in the 66th minute of their recent Super League fixture with Hull Kingston Rovers.

But Satae has successfully challenged the grading which means he will now miss just two fixtures.

Elsewhere, Wigan’s Joe Shorrocks has been banned for five games after being charged with Grade D Dangerous Contact in Wigan Reserves’ recent fixture against Widnes Vikings.

And in League 1, Hunslet’s Zach Johnson has been handed a six-match suspension for a Grade E Dangerous Throw in the 79th minute of Hunslet’s recent friendly against Leeds Rhinos.

Johnson pleaded guilty but challenged the grading of the offence. However, the tribunal found the grading to be correct and imposed the ban of half a dozen games.
