A Bali nightclub bouncer, who was allegedly assaulted by Brisbane’s David Fifita, has admitted he will forgive the teenage star, but believes that ‘arrogant tourists’ need to be taught a lesson, according to Fox Sports.
The 19 year old Queensland and Junior Kangaroos forward has been detained by Bali police after allegedly punching the security guard outside the same club where Melbourne’s Nelson Asofa-Solomona was involved in a mass brawl, and is currently working alongside the Broncos welfare team as well as the NRL Integrity Unit to resolve the issue.
The bouncer in question, believed to be Dani Irawan, indicated he would be willing to forgive Fifita, but is keen to meet with him again to check the Brisbane star is sincere.
“He said, ‘sorry, sorry’” Irawan said, adding that he believed Fifita was sincere.
“I just don’t like to see arrogant tourists. We should give him a lesson.”
