Castleford’s Jesse Sene-Lefao has been banned for two matches for striking Wigan’s Oliver Partington with his knees while effecting a tackle.

Sene-Lefao was sent from the field and will now miss the Tigers’ showdown with Warrington on Thursday, plus the following week’s match, should Cas progress.

Partington has also been banned for one match after being charged with Grade A ‘strikes with arm’.

The charge relates to an incident in the 74th minute of the match against Castleford, involving Tigers’ Cheyse Blair.
