A serious leg injury sustained by one of the Leeds wingers just before half time led to the match between the Rhinos and York City Knights in the Women’s Super League to be abandoned.

Sophie Robinson suffered the injury in the act of scoring her third first half try on Sunday, with the game being held up for a long period of time before the decision was made to halt the fixture.

Robinson has since been in for surgery and is in good spirits and a decision on what will happen with the initial fixture is yet to be made, with the Rhinos leading 30-0 at the time.
