Brad Singleton is expected to be announced as Toronto Wolfpack’s second signing as they prepare for their maiden Super League season.
The newly-promoted Canadian side announced the signing of Rugby Union World Cup winner Sonny Bill Williams on Thursday and now look to add the Leeds Rhinos forward to their ranks.
The move has yet to be confirmed by either team, but reports in the Yorkshire Evening Post suggest the move is imminent.
The 26-year-old made his Rhinos debut back in 2011 when he came off the bench in a 46-12 win over Salford Red Devils. If the move goes through he will be reunited with the man who handed him that debut – Brian McDermott.
During his time at Leeds, Singleton played 178 times and scored 20 tries in the process, he was also a key member of the treble-winning squad in 2015.
