Hull KR’s crucial win over Leeds last night has been marred by a potential injury to one of their key players.
Hooker Matt Parcell left the field after suffering a concussion and didn’t return, and head coach Tony Smith reports he’s in the dark about his fitness.
Smith explained: “Matt Parcell was terrific but he’s got a bit of a concussion – he failed his head test – and at the same time may have done something to his shoulder as he landed on the ground.
“He landed on his head and shoulder at the same time. He’ll go home tonight and won’t be going to hospital but we’re not sure how he’s going to recover.
“Whether it’s an AC injury, I’m not sure. I haven’t had long with him or the physios so far.”
