Swinton chairman Andy Mazey has paid tribute to two of the club’s ball boys after they donated their wages back to the club.
Mazey says the pair, Marley and Billy, handed in their five-pound notes following today’s 32-12 defeat to Swinton.
He said: “Ten pounds safely in possession this evening.
“Two of our ball boys, your Marley and Billy, have gone above and beyond and donate back wages to the club today.
“This is what makes you feel like it’s all worthwhile.
“Thanks boys, your parents must be rightly proud.”
